A much simpler solution is to pry off the plastic cap on the connecter. This exposes two small pins. You can then just slide the spade terminals onto the pins.

One of the terminals I had to crimp a little with some pliers to get a snug fit. Worked great. It's really the only choice now, since no source stocks a new one of the original part at any price. Spendide had no suggestions on any source for the part. Hey there Monaco. Where did you order the valves from?

Upon winterizing my d also has one valve now stuck open and I should replace both. Also, how did you access the valve? How did you take the machine apart? Mine is in a tight closet and it looks quite difficult to get it open. You may also like:.

What I found is a broken latch. Haven't tried to locate parts yet but I managed a temporary repair. So if you seem to have trouble with a door lock, look to see if the latch has good spring tension and see if it looks like it is oriented correctly, including the pivot pin.

A shake of the door and slight rattle could indicate a broken pin retainer. I drilled a small hole through the boss that held the pin and used a nylon tie wrap to secure it. To disassemble the door you need to remove it from the hinge 2 small torx screws then the philips screws around the perimeter.

The door skins snap together, so careful prying to separate the halves. The glass and plastic windows only fit one way.

Unfortunately, I broke the handle off my Splendide this past week.

So far the door has resisted all efforts at opening it back up to repair it. As one might expect, the clothes inside are apparently the family favorites that we can't live without. It is still in the dry cycle, but is working fine. Can't believe how many options this little unit has.

Meets all my needs and as long as I do a load every 2 or 3 days, I will have clean clothes for work. Im sure my wife will have to do a load everyday when we are vacationing in the rv, but we do have 2 young kids. Our splindide works well in the RV, but has a problem. The baffles inside drum keep failing and coming loose from the drum. The little plastic fingers break sometimes and the thin drum material bends on others. The unit has been returned to a slendide repair facility, and I have ordered and installed several Splendide upgraded baffles.

Here we sit in Rayne, LA and can't use our Splendide because only two of the three baffles aree attached. Nov 28, Rating splendide by: barry smith the splendide rocks i got 7 people in my family and it does wonders for us.

Side-by-Sides were too long and stacked ones too high. However I'd been to Europe and knew there were magic machines the size of an old council television that not only washed, but then dried all in one.

The hard part was finding one. The internet led me to Recreational Vehicle stores being these were practical to install in motor homes. I've come to believe they belong in all homes. It is made in Italy and distributed out of Clackamas, Oregon.

Twice a week I throw in a load and forget about it until I feel like folding. It has five settings, a softener, bleach, and detergent holder, and the energy rating is in the upper ninety's. I've had it two years now and not a lick of trouble. Check them out at www.

Elsewhere in this civilized world, I'm sure you already have one. Apr 09, Rating Answer to the wash cycle only question by: Kirsten Yes, to the comment below. You can just do a wash cycle with no drying. I forget what the setting is but maybe you can check the manual or download a manual for it online.
