What you need to do is copy back data from old profile. Also turn on Verbose mode Turned out a service has got broke by MS during a patch and was causing issues with some software we run on our machines. Simple solution was to disable the service as it wasnt needed and login times decreased to seconds. Wouldnt have known this if it wasnt for Verbose mode. What is handling your DHCP?

Thank you everyone that replied. One last thing to all the smart people that have saved a lot of headaches. Pointing the clients to the internal DC solved group policy update but did not solve slow logins.

I made the below changes on the clients machines and this solved the slow logins. Does anyone see anything wrong with these steps?
